Rakhi Sawant's In-flight Fight
The actress says that she got into an ugly brawl with a passenger in a Mumbai-Delhi flight
Rakhi Sawant will not forget January 1, 2015, for a long time. The actress had a very unpleasant experience at Mumbai's Santacruz airport, yesterday morning.
Rakhi, who was flying to Delhi, was occupying her seat in the executive class when a certain Chatterjee walked in to say that she should get up as the seat was booked under his name.
Crew member Priyanka intervened and asked Chatterjee to show his ticket. Shockingly, Chatterjee got infuriated and said that he will not produce his ticket.
Seeing that the situation was getting out of hand, Priyanka informed the JE, Prosenjit.
When contacted, Rakhi Sawant said, "That man even held my hand and I felt very uncomfortable."
Prosenjit acted quickly and called for the airport's ground staff, who asked Chatterjee to disembark. Added Rakhi, "The ground staff strongly felt that Chatterjee was under the influence of alcohol."
But the fight was far from over. Hearing that he cannot travel, Mr Chatterjee got even more aggressive.
However, the ground officials stood their ground. And the flight took off without Chatterjee on board.
"That man (Chatterjee) is a blot on our society. How can he behave in such a disgraceful manner with a woman?" Rakhi concluded..
